Most of the time you may see the message for the problem of your hard drive. If your hard drive is too old and it has a small space. In that reason your primary hard drive full or it has not enough space on C drive. For this problem you can delete some unrequited files from your C drive.

Sometimes when your hard disk had a good number of bad sectors it may seems this type of message. For this you can try to run it by defragging. If it failed to run your hard drive you need to replace it. If don’t replace the hard drive you can add a new hard drive with it. Then you can save some additional data in your new hard drive. Thank you.

You need to check for a few things before you compromise on the safety of your files. One, a disk clean up should be the first thing before attempting anything.

Disk Cleanup

Check the Total amount of disk space you will gain after selecting most of the options in the Files to delete box above, keeping in mind that files from the recycle bin will be erased if you choose to delete them

The second option will be scanned for viruses from another computer. Dismount your hard disk from your computer and connect it externally to another machine that has an anti-virus. Scan your drive and also check the following.

That the Temp folder in C:WindowsTemp is empty (this is a folder used by many applications including installer to temporarily save files). You could do a search of the Temp folder to ascertain that it doesn’t appear only once in your system – Windows 7 for instance has another Temp folder in C:UsersFolderLocalAppDataTemp.

The last option is to make sure that, after a successful ant virus scan, your computer is free from viruses. Some viruses will duplicate files and hide these folders that have enormous spaces in different places. Unhiding these files and folders could lead you to the exact cause of your issues. Hope this helps you.

Regards.
