Hi,

I am using Logic Pro on Mac OS X. But recently when trying to open the program I get the error shown below. I have tried to restart my computer but still getting this error.

Logic Pro:

Disk is too slow or System Overload. (-10010)

The Sudden Motion Sensor may have parked the hard drive head, or the disk performance is not sufficient to read or write all audio tracks, or the system was not able to process all data in time.

LogicPro on Mac OS X trying to open program getting an error

Logic Pro is a professional recording application designed for Mac OS X for creating music. It has a complete set of tools for writing, editing, recording, and mixing music on your Macintosh computer. The program has a collection of effects, instruments, and loops. It also includes production templates that will help you create music easily.

I haven’t really encountered a similar error on my computer even if I’m running several applications simultaneously. One possible reason why you are getting this error is the total amount of memory. If your computer has a low memory, avoid running other programs when Logic Pro is already running so your RAM will not be wasted on other processes.

Adding more RAM will also help in improving your computer’s performance. If in case the error appears again in the future, close all programs including Logic Pro then restart your computer. After that, open Logic Pro only and there should be no other unnecessary programs running. It may also help if you upgrade your version to Logic Pro X. Visit Logic Pro X on Softonic. See image.

This version supports Mac OS X 10.8 and later.
