Launched earlier in the week, google has unveiled the 2 most awaited android smartphones of 2015. Yes, it’s finally out but, not just 1 this time around GOOGLE has launched 2 nexus devices simultaneously.
While both of them are not made by the same manufacturer the smaller and more affordable option of the nexus is being called the nexus 5x and this time around it has not changed its manufacturer again. The nexus 5x is still manufactured from LG the South Korean company. But, the surprise here is the bigger brother of the nexus 5x and it is being called the nexus 6P.
This time around google has also experimented with removing two phones of an older generation name (the nexus 5 and nexus 6).
The nexus 6s is made from the Chinese giant Huawei. While Huawei has a large fan base back in its home country china here in India Huawei might find it a bit difficult to gain popularity but again I guess that can be overcome by the nexus branding given to the device by google. The same was the case with LG a few years back. LG now is massively popular because of its first nexus device with google a few years back named the nexus 4. The device was so outstanding that google again gave it the privilege to make the google nexus 5 and here they are yet again with the nexus 5x.
To come to the specification side of the story now both these android powerhouses will operate on the latest android i.e the marshmallow (android 6.0). This is the most important feature which makes there smart phones stand out from the already existing smartphones. And being the nexus devices they will be the first to receive any android updates and all will offer android the way it was supposed to be offered in a pure android experience.
NEXUS 6P
The nexus 6P has a larger form factor and is bigger and better in every way (unless obviously you don’t like big phones). It sports a 5.7” Qhd AMOLED display. The device is powered by a snapdragon 810 octa core chipset pairing with 3GB of RAM along with 32,64 or 128 GB of storage enough storage so that the photo lovers don’t run out of space while clicking pics with the 12.3mp rear and 8mp front cam. It has a 3450 mah battery which I guess should be sufficient for a full day of medium to a little heavy usage.
ALL in all it is a bigger brother to the nexus 5x.
NEXUS 5X
Moving onto the smaller brother, the nexus 5x is a little bit smaller and just a little bit weaker than the bigger 6P. It sports a 5.2” 1080p LCD display. It is powered by the snapdragon 808 hexacore chipset along with 2GB of ram. The maximum storage capacity of this device goes only up to 32GB which is not that impressive. The camera on the rear is a 12.3mp shooter with a 5mp shooter in the front. It has a 2700 mah battery which again is not that impressive but should get you through the major part of the day!
Both the devices support a USB type C connector for charging and data syncing. Both these devices have a fingerprint sensor for maximum security.
