First you will need to download VirtualBox at this link:

https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads and follow the steps given.

For an updated version of Windows 8 please go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/products/windows and follow the same steps given in the video.

The video shows you a full tutorial on installing Windows 8 on Window 7, 8, XP, Vista, Mac OS X and Linux by making use of the VirtualBox.

This is the best method of installing Windows 8 because you will not need to dual boot or deal with partitions.

Hello Farhankhan.

First of all, you should download Windows 8 Consumer Preview (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/products/windows).  

It is not the final release so be prepared to remove it as soon as the official retail version has been released by Microsoft.

For all your questions on how to install Windows 8, please read this FAQ from microsoft.com: https://insider.windows.com/en-us/

You could opt to install it in a virtual machine to minimize the impact on your current system and make it easier to remove anytime.  

However, you will not be able to experience the full effect of its interface particularly the graphics when it is in a virtual machine. Dual-booting it with your current OS will let it showcase all its features using the full power of your hardware.
