Hi Experts,

My Photo Gallery has been serving with me for one year. Since then I found no problem with my Photo Gallery. Recently while working with a downloaded picture I received an error message. It says, "An error is preventing Photo Gallery from saving this picture". On receiving this error message, I have failed to edit my existing photo also. Have you any idea for the error message?

Please help.

Hi Grace W Runyon,

Maybe you’d downloaded a virus infected files and it also infect your other files, it is wise for you to upgrade your antivirus software and scan your computer. You can also use System restore to undo changes made after you’ve got infected.

Grace,

There is nothing more annoying then getting an error once you have edited something and your trying to save your changes.  Lets see if we can't fix your problem, first open up your Task Manager.  Once you have opened your Task Manager, go to the Processes Tab and click on the button that says "Show processes from all users".  To make it a little easier now click on the Command Line to sort the processes by this field.  We will now be looking for the command line that says "C:Program FilesWindows Media Playerwmpnetwk.exe".  Once you have found this line high-light it and click End Process and say "Yes" to confirm that you want to end the process.   Once this process has ended you should be able to save your photo and any changes you made to it.
