When should i use the recovery console and how do i install it when needed?

You can use recovery console when you are experiencing certain problems in your operating system and you do not want to install a fresh copy.
If you are having windows as an operating system then you can use recovery console to recover your computer and fixing the problems you were having
Installing the recovery console:-
You can do so by inserting a windows XP compact disk.
1. After inserting the disk restart your computer and when you boot from the CD you will have to press any key to boot from that CD.
2. After that your computer will start inspecting the hardware’s configuration.
3. Then the windows setup will load the new files which will be used in recovery.
4. Then it will ask you to whether install a fresh copy of windows or to repair it .then press R.
5. Now you will have to choose windows installation
1:C:WINDOWS
So type 1 and press enter.
Then you will have to type your administrator password so type the password and press enter.
If you don’t know your password then please press enter.
Using and installing recovery console
The Recovery Console is a command line based advanced diagnostic feature that help fix some major system problems and is available in some versions of Microsoft Windows operating system. It is mostly useful in replacing and or repairing important operating system files. Because when some of these files don’t work, there are times that Windows will not boot up. When this happens, you can use the Recovery Console to restore the files.
The Recovery Console is usually accessed from the original Windows installation CD. Alternatively, Recovery Console can be accessed from the boot menu but only if it has been preinstalled on your system. There are some Recovery Console commands that are available from within Recovery Console. You can use these commands to help fix specific problems.
