Hello,
I want to enhance my windows seven installed on my new laptop, which is core I 5 HP laptop with 2 of ram and 320 of hard disk.
I am using ultimate windows Tweaker made by the windowsclub.com. Whenever I change the settings and try to update those settings for windows to use, I get this error.
Ultimate Windows Tweaker
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue The application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit The application will close immediately.
Access to the registry key
‘HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTCLSID{E88DCCE0-B7B3-11d1-A9F0-00AA0060FA31}’ is denied.
I change various settings, but as you know there are a lot of settings and I don’t know which one of them is creating the problem, I want to sort it out. Do you have any idea of what the setting is causing this error by looking out the registry values which are not understood by me.
Thanks folks.

You haven’t mentioned the version of your Ultimate Windows Tweaker.
The Ultimate Windows Tweaker (UWT) has been already released its new version of Tweak UI for Windows 7 which is intended for optimizing and tweaks for both 54 and 32 bits of Microsoft Vista as well as the Windows 7. The new version knows if the operating system you are installing with is if it is Windows Vista or Windows 7.
The new Ultimate Windows Tweaker is UWT version 2.2. And there are a lot of changes in the application and also supports Internet Explorer version 9.
By the way, Ultimate Windows Tweaker does not require to be installed. You can run the tweaking applications directly once you have downloaded the zip file and extracted either into your hard disk drive or flash drive.
Windows 7 restrictions are very strict, running applications requires your confirmation especially when the applications run is not supported by the Microsoft. Changing on the registry and other administrative settings of Microsoft Windows 7 as well as in Microsoft Windows Vista requires administrative accountability.
You are running Tweak UI for windows 7 and since the Tweak modifies some settings in the system registry, it will prevent you or the UWT to change settings unless you are running in administrator mode.
You must run the UWT in administrator mode so that changes on the system register will take effect and prevents you from receiving an error message such as access to register is denied.
To run the UWT in administrator mode, just right click on the application then selects on the pop-up menu Run as administrator.

Hi,
To solve this issue, please boot your computer in a clean boot environment. You can do this when you go to the Windows Advanced Options by pressing F8 key.
If you boot your computer using a clean boot option, this will disable all the 3rd party applications. So you can identify which application is causing this issue. Then you can uninstall it or update to the newer version. This will solve your problem. Also you can use fix it tool. This tool will automatically identify the application which is causing this issue and repair it. This is the easiest way to solve this.

That is a plain and simple “access denied” error. This kind of error is related to permissions which you can get when you are not using an administrator account and you don’t have full administrative privileges. If the program is already installed and the problem only appears when you change a setting, try to run the program as admin. Right-click Ultimate Windows Tweaker then select “Run as administrator”.
If this worked, make the program to always run as admin. Right-click Ultimate Windows Tweaker then select “Properties”. In the properties window, go to “Compatibility” tab then under “Privilege Level” section at the bottom, check “Run this program as an administrator”. Click “OK” and it should fix the problem. Try also updating the program to the latest. Download the latest Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4.6.0.
There are three (3) download options you can select: Windows Vista/7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. Click the link specific to your operating system.
