Computer Hardware Game Problem – Upgrade
If your Battlefield 3 PC game is lagging and the sound is very slow or it stutters, you may want to try the command: ^-key (left to the 1-key) and type RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 1. Enter the said command for it to take effect immediately. If that doesn’t work, you may want to try the following instead:
-
Disable VSYNC! To help you get all FPS capabilities
-
Lower the graphics settings
-
Update the drivers for your video card
-
Lower Shadows
-
Disable 3D Vision
-
If patch for the game is available, get the said patch
If you already tried the steps above and the issue persists, try another server in case the server you are in is really slow.

Hi there ,Â
First of all Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT is a very old model and also very low in performance is shader quality. I suggest at least 9500GTÂ
Get GT520 2 GB graphic card at extremely low rate from Zotac and some other companies. I just saw amazing offers in Flipkart and Ebay. It supports 5.0 Shader model and amazingly it supports Direct X 11 and also the memory is a 800 MHz DDR3 so speed also has increased.Â
If you are not planning to upgrade your Graphics card then try Going to the Graphics and or visual properties in Battlefield and decrease the resolution a bit ,Â
2. Disable Vsinc.
3. Disable shadows.Â
4. Decrease the world effects.
5. If you set up 3D vision means first disable that Ok .Â
