Hello fellows,
What is all about removing edits from photo? Is it possible to remove those effects that have been applied to a specific photo? I have three photos that were edited by my friend and I lost the original picture, is there a way to undo the edit and save it as a normal photo?
Regards,
Kristen James.

Hi,
Sometimes it happens. But I am sorry to say that, it is pretty impossible to remove the edit of the photo.
But if you had deleted it is possible to retrieve it from recycle bin or using recovery software.
Or you can further edit it or can take help of any graphics expert to further edit and change it to as like as before.
Good Luck.

It depends on what software you used or are using for editing. If you used photo gallery
1. Open photo gallery. Select the photo or photos that you want to remove edit. Click Revert to original on the Edit tab
2. If you used Photoshop to open the photo and click undo a bunch of time
3. If you are using Lightroom 3 just click on the Reset button.

Hi Kristen James,
What is the format of your photos? If the format is JPG (or JPEG), there is no way to turn them back to original. But, if your photo are in Photoshop format (psd), it could be. Because the structure of Photoshop file is a combination of layers, and when edits an image, the editor often does in separated layer. That means your original photo may be the bottom layer in the layer panel. But (but again), if the editor edit in the photo directly (not in separated layer), you cannot turn your photo back to original.
So, check out your photos, and you know you can turn them back to the original or not.
Hope this helps.
