Thunderbird supports IMAP(Internet Message Access Protocol). You can get more details from this link: http://kb.mozillazine.org/IMAP.

Hello there,
Mozilla Thunderbird supports IMAP, as do all major email applications (Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Eudora, Pegasus etc).
You can send email from Microsoft word 2007 by using below way:
1. Click the Microsoft Office Button then click Word Options.
2. Click Customize, and then click All Commands in the Choose commands from list.
3. In the list that appears, click Send to Mail Recipient, and then click Add to add the command to the Quick Access Toolbar.

Thanks guys for your valuable messages. Madusula, your valuable advice helped me to understand that for IMAP I need Mozilla and Thunderbird. The link you provided was very helpful, and upon visiting this site, I learned a lot I didn’t know before about IMAP. Really IMAP allows me to access messages stored in any remote folder as if it were a local folder. I am very grateful to you and techyv.com for sharing this message.
