What is the main purpose of Samsung galaxy gsm modem? How can this gsm modem help my Samsung galaxy mobile phone? Is there a connection process that will happen between the devices? Discuss and explain it to me briefly.

What is the main purpose of Samsung Galaxy gsm modem?

It is a function of most smartphones today. The GSM/GPRS/3G internet connection of your mobile phone is being "relayed" to whatever other device you are connecting to your phone (e.g. Laptop, Other smartphones). It is like you are connecting your laptop to a modem BUT instead you're connecting it to your Samsung Galaxy via Bluetooth/Wifi (warning: Data charges may apply according to your network provider's terms). Actually it doesn't do anything to your samsung galaxy. It is just a feature/functionality of that device to let other devices connect to the internet through your Samsung Galaxy (as GSM Modem) via Bluetooth or Wi-fi. Hope this helped.
