Is the Virtual Machine Images BitNami need installing?

I want to try the Virtual Machine Images program "BitNami". I do not want to install it, because I am not sure if it is really the program that I need. I read that this program doesn't actually need to be installed. Is there any other Virtual Machine Images with this criteria?

BitNami Virtual appliances is VMware virtual machine are fully installed and configured BitNami application Stack.

If you want to run this appliances you need to have virtualization software from VMware already installed,

You can download them at www.VMWare.com

You can log into your computer to stop or restart the servers.

one installed, you 'll be able to run BitNami Virtual Machine Image.
