I have linked a shared folder as a storage card for my device emulator. I normally can see the storage and work with it. But the problem starts when I install a program, then I can't see my card. Why is this occurring?
My Windows 7 Device Emulator Storage card vanishes when I sort reset
Maybe the program you installed updated the system and affected your device emulator. The problem now is that you did not mention anything about the program you recently installed, the application’s name or version, these kind of information that might help analyze the problem.
But since this is the state of your question and since it is only a new installation, try uninstalling the program you recently installed. After its removal restart your computer. After Windows has booted, try checking if you can now access or if the device emulator is already accessible.
Or you can roll your system back to the state before you installed the said application using the System Restore option of Windows.
But this is only possible if you created a restore point before installing the application or if the setup wizard of that application automatically created a restore point. But if not, restoring the computer to its previous state would not be possible.
