Can’t enter into BIOS setup on Lenovo B570e

Hi,

I am using Windows 8 on Lenovo B570e but I can’t access BIOS. When the computer boots it indicates that to enter BIOS I should press F2 but I have tried a lot with no avail. The key F2 is working on all other occasions except entering into BIOS. Can anyone help?

Hi Gary,

Have you tried holding the 'F2' key? You could also try pressing the 'F12' button. If this didn't work, try to fully shutdown your machine. Windows 8 does a hybrid boot; seems like every time you reboots/ shutdown your machine it only does a warm restart which might be the cause of skipping of BIOS. To fully shutdown your system (cold restart) you should:

1. Run your Command Prompt.

2. Type shutdown /s /t 0
