Unknown file format compatible software info required

Hello,

I am having some trouble with opening .rar files. I do not find any suitable software installed in my pc which may open it. I need to know about softwares that may be suitable for opening such a files. Should someone know of such softwares kindly inform me about it.

Hey Scott martin!

Do not worry about your problem. Rar is basically a file format that compressed the size of file. There are many software that can be used to extract the files from the .rar. Most common software to open rar file is WinRAR. You can search on the internet for this software. But for your help, i am going to add a link here for. You just have to click on it and install the software.

After installing, you can double click on any .rar file, it will open and you will able to see compressed files.

Right click on the rar file and select "Extract Here", your files will be extract in the folder.
