Hello everybody,

I want to Know what is the compression ratio of MP3? and what is the best compressor software that can help me to reduce the size of my Mp3 files?

Finally i need a good source from where i can download this software for free.

I need software for a good compression ratio mp3

Hello. Compressing mp3 files changes the output of the said files: it can still retain it's sound quality or its sound quality could be reduced.

1. Compression rate is low if sound quality is to be retained.

2. If you don't care about the sound quality of the output mp3, then compression rate could be as high as 1:22.

The ratio of the bitrate of the output file to the input file will determine the compression. Lower ratios indicate higher compression rates and vice versa.
