Google Chrome Wepage Unavailability Error

Hi!

I  visited some links that I have in my Excel spreadsheet. When I clicked one of the links, it started exploring in Google Chrome and gave an error as seen in the image. That link was of some hosting site. It wasn’t getting me to that main. I tried many times to open that link in the explorer but I was receiving the same error.

The webpage at https://localhost:8081/might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Error 337 (net::ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR): Unknown error.

I opened that link in IE and it gave the same error again. The way I understand it, the error is due to the net not getting access to the port of this site address, or I need to configure this port in my LAN connection. I am not doing anything myself because I don’t have much knowledge about the situation.

So if  I do some changes myself,  my laptop will become useless.

So, please any of you who can help me out.  Please tell me what should I do, so I can visit that site and receive that error no more.

Google Chrome Wepage Unavailability Error

OPTION 1

For Internet Explorer:

• Go to "tools/internet options/advanced" in the settings box
• scroll all the way to the bottom and select "Use TLS 1.0" and it will fix the problem. SSL 2.0 or 3.0 and these are should also be selected.

For Google Chrome:

• Click "wrench" sign on the tope right of it.
• Click "Options" then "Under the bonnet" in network click "Change Proxy Settings" and follow the steps above as in Internet Explorer.

OPTION 2

• Unhide all the files and folders.
• Go to C:WindowsSystem32driversetchosts.
• Right click on hosts file, and then click properties.
• Then click security tab.
• After that, click edit.
• Click system and you have to check on allow full control and uncheck deny.
• Click OK and then OK.
• Delete the hosts file.

(NOTE: if you are using the latest browser, this rarely happens nowadays)
