Hello friends,
What is the best software for mpg video editing? I have three video files of mpg and was planning to edit some of the scenes. I need to delete some unnecessary movements and scenario, please do suggest an easy to use video editing software.

There are a lot of software for mpg video editing like Windows Movie Maker, VirtualDub, Avidemux, Wax , Sony Vegas Pro, FFMpeg, Blender, Video Editor, Cinefx Jashaka, Zwei-Stein, Movica. All of this software is very good and essential for editing a mpg video. Each has different qualities and various uses. These software are the very best out there. It is very hard to judge out of this 11 software. Each has a very different approach to video editing and ensures a satisfactory result. My suggestion for you is to try all this but I will suggest you start with windows movie maker.
It is very easy to use and you can do a lot of editing easily as a starter. I use Sony Vegas Pro 10 for my editing.

There are many software for video editing. But I would recommend you Avidemux. It is a free editing software. Aviedmux is very simply designed. You can do encoding tasks with cutting and filtering. Along with MPG, you can also edit many more video formats like-VOB, DVD, FLV, MPEG, XviD etc. It has a powerful capability of scripting.
If this doesn't work, you also can use Mpg2Cut2.But the above one is better than any others.
