Hi, my computer has a rapid USB host controller. However, when I try inserting a USB 2.0 device it tells me that it plugs into a non speedy USB host controller. What is the main issue with the USB host controller? Thanks.
Plugged into a non speedy USB host controller
Yes Asacole,
This is because your USB host controllers are old, and you are trying to plug in a new generation speed USB, which means that your USB has a speed of 2.0, and you are putting it into 1.0 USB port. If you plug a 1.0 USB in this port, it will not say anything, this doesn't cause any problems, but you will be unable to get much use out of your USB when your PC only has a 1.0 port, so you will have to upgrade your port.
Thanks.
