Will I have to buy an iPhone application for each of the compatible devices? What about those applictions that include multiple licenses?

Hello Aimee

Before downloading any APP for the iPhone from the App store you must have a Username and password to create an account for you, in this account all the Apps that you have downloaded are stored for you so you can have access to them in the Future if you want to re-download them.

This means if you use the say Apple account on two or more iPhones you can download the same app without having to buy it again, however you should know that there are some apps that are one time license and they are only to be downloaded on one iPhone only not another, to know what apps are single license and which are not read the app description.

Hello,

You are lucky that Apple allows to sync your paid APPS on all of your device. Its like you can sync them to multiple devices. I f you buy an APP from PC using iTunes then all your i-devices will get the APP. If you buy the APP from your iPhone, the first time you sync your iPhone to your PC your iTunes will recognize it and sync to other devices.

If you have several iPhones and you want to install an app on every phone, you don’t really need to purchase the apps separately for every phone. You just need to check the license when you buy an app. If you want to install an app on every phone, look for an app with a license that allows installation on multiple devices.

There are apps that can be installed on unlimited number of devices but there are also ones that have limitations on the number of devices which it can be installed to. If the license of one app allows installation on more than one device, check and verify the number of allowed devices.

If the license is limited to one device only then this is when you need to purchase the app for every device. In the Apple App Store, there are plenty of free apps you can try. Try them out first before downloading a paid version.
