Where can I get a double-port Ethernet in other works?
Hallo there,
I have one Ethernet cable from a router. I would like to slice it into two.
Where can I get a double-port Ethernet in other works?
I have no slightest clue.
Thanks a lot.

If you want to connect two computers directly, you cannot use a standard network cable because it will not work. A standard network cable is designed to connect a computer to a hub to connect to other computers on the network. There are three types of cable used on the computer: straight-through, crossover, and rollover.
The first two are the ones used on the network to carry data while the last type, the rollover cable, is not designed to carry data. The rollover cable is used mainly for programming or to create an interface with the device to make programming changes. The straight-through cable is the one I’m referring to as the standard network cable which connects a workstation to a hub.
The crossover cable is the one you need to connect one computer to another directly without using a hub. You can buy a crossover cable on any computer online store like these ones on eBay:
