Hi,
I am trying toinstall windows XP on to a SCSI hard disk. It needs drivers from the manufacturer. However, I do not know which function key I should press when setting it up to load these drivers. Who has the clue to this process?
Thank you.
Function key to load drivers
Hello Kugler. The function key you are asking for is f6. On SCSI hard drives, when installing windows XP
the function key F6 installs third party and controller drivers. Each function key have different functions assigned to them so the other function keys perform other useful functins too.
I hope this information points you in the direction of solving the problem and I hope I've been of assistance.
Regards,
Samuel

If you are installing Windows on a new computer and you need the drivers, you can always get it from the manufacturer’s website. See the following list of computer and video card manufacturers:
Enter your computer’s model name or model number then click to search. You can find it printed on the sticker on the side or bottom of your computer. Once your product is located, click it to go to the download page. The page should detect your operating system automatically. If the page shows a different operating system, click to change then select your correct operating system.
Go to the driver download tab or section. Download and install all available drivers and software for your computer.
