Hi Techyv Friends,

I am in need of the best identity blocker for Mac computer that will help me to block unwanted web sites. Also do let me know how to install and turn on the firewall to block specific web pages on my Mac computer.

Best identity blocker for Mac

Hi.

To hide your identity on Mac you can use OS-X Gatekeeper. More about this application is found on their web site Apple OS-X Gatekeeper. Apple Safari has nice features and great security. In Safaris preferences are many options that you should to check and activate. You need to setup java privileges

You need to enable pop up blocker

And you need to remove cookies from web pages

To set up firewall go to System preferences, select Security and privacy and choose Firewall tab. In it click on activate. Once activated go to advanced and enable stealth mode and allow signed software to receive updates. Now your firewall is configured.
