Good day guys,
I'm always making fun with my iPhone, that is why I keep on changing my ringtones and alerts using iTunes. When I decided to change my ringtone again to my favorite song, I converted the file using I tunes and an error message appeared on my screen. It tells me that, the file cannot make into a ringtone.
Posted below is the screen shot of the error.
This song cannot be made into a ringtone.
“Madison Blues” by The Destroyers can no longer be made into a ringtone.
I am wondering why this error message appeared, as in all my experience in converting my music to ringtone I didn't have any problem.
Please help me find out on what went wrong, on where shall I start looking for the cause of such error.

Itunes Error: Song cannot be convert to ringtone
This problem usually occurs in IPHONE. The first thing you need to do, is to select the music you like to put in a ringtone. Be sure the songs you choose is MP3.
If you like to use part of the song, you choose RIGHT CLICK the songs and go to SELECT "GET INFO" and choose OPTIONS TAB, which time you desire to start and end the time. RIGHT CLICK the songs you choose and go to the Converting files AAC and then wait for the iTunes to convert your songs you like and it produces duplicate files.
Delete the duplicate files in iTunes and choose keep files, change the extension .m4r to .m4a.
After that double click the ringtone files and let the iTunes add into your files.

Hi there,
Here is a process to help you have a ringtone from your music:
Start your iTunes and have the music or the song you want to convert to a ringtone, it must be a MP3. From there right click the song and select Get info and hit option tab.
Stop the time boxes and have the times for each no more less than 30 secs. Apart for the length. After having the time, click ok and right click the song again and select the Create AAC Version from the menu.
From a folder which you can choose any from there, drag the version and put it on the folder of your choice.
From the iTunes delete now the 30 sec. version and undo Start time and change it now to the original.
Open the folder the one you drag out from the iTunes.
Change the file extension to .m4r and double click it.
Please sync your iPhone and done.
