Reason Why USB 2.0 Runs in Limited Speed

Hi,

My USB only works at partial speeds despite the mobo being capable of 2.0. Its drivers are also installed as well as the service pack. Why is this happening?

Any answer would be greatly appreciated.

Reason Why USB 2.0 Runs in Limited Speed

Normally this types of errors happens for many reasons

1. Drivers not properly installed
2. The device is not capable of 2.0 Data transferring
3. The system not being capable to do that

As for above mentioned problem I think the Plugged in Device is not able to transmit data with that speed.
 Try to Reboot the computer and try this again

See whether the Specific driver on the dot is installed not a Driver for a Series
