Which pin number the drain wire will be compatible with

Hi,

I am using an rj48x biscuit jack pin. I would like to know which pin number the drain wire will be compatible with. I am currently using a quabbin 2 pair wire that is shielded individually.

Hello Mr. James

            As RJ48x is a Miniature 8-position Jack which is basically used for 1.544mbps Digital services. In RJ48x Pins 1,2 & 8 are used to receive signal from network  and pins 4,5 & 7 are use to transmit signal while Pins 3 & 6 are Reserved for Future use.

And More of above Pins 7 & 8 are used to provide cable shield integrity.

           

            So you can connect your Drain wire to Pin 7 or 8 to provide Special Grounding.
