Problem with “IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL” Error

Hello Experts,

I am unable to get into my Windows XP. It only restarts again and again.

I tried to boot from XP CD but I finish with same error.

How can I solve this problem?

Problem with “IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL” Error

There are many possible causes. One of them is that of incorrect setting in your main board BIOS. In order to fix this, you should enter your bios with the DEL button probably, and then reset it to the default values. Then try reinstalling your Windows XP.

If that is not the problem, then you should try a different operating system. I can recommend Windows 7, for me it’s the best. The third and last suggestion I can make is that you should try installing windows without peripherals only with keyboard and mouse, unplug webcams, phone or any other and try it.
