Lenovo G580 touchpad scrolling hang

Hi,

What could be causing my Lenovo's G580 touchpad to hang when scrolling halfway through the page? The USB mouse trackball is also having the same problem, I am running on Windows 8.1 which I updated recently! Am forced to close the page am scrolling using the task manager to resume working.

Lenovo G580 touchpad scrolling hang

Hi !

When you have made the update to your Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 some new files were installed and replacing the old settings. You will have to check if are any new updates to your windows because it might be possible to miss some. Also you will have to check if your touchpad driver is compatible with new Windows 8.1 and install the new drivers. Run the troubleshoot to your mouse and see if there are any problems with the touchpad. Try to reconsider to install Windows 8 again because the new update is a stable OS at this moment.
