I happen to lost my office 2010 product key, what should I do? Do I need to purchase another one? Please help! Thanks!

I lost my Office 2010 product key

Hello Tammy.

No, you don't have to purchase a new MS Office just because you lost your product key.  Actually, you can call up Microsoft to get help on how to retrieve your product key.  However, there is a faster way to get it without having to bother calling up Microsoft technical support.

There are plenty of applications out there that are made to retrieve Office product keys.  One of these applications is Belarc Advisor which you can download here: http://www.belarc.com/products_belarc_advisor.

Just download and install the free application and it will generate an audit of your computer and display it on an HTML file that will open on your default browser.  It will reveal not only your Office 2010 key but all products installed on your machine that have product keys.

There are some option for you. All of them are affective. You can choose any of this-

• You can contact Microsoft . They will ask for the ID which came with the CD….This ID is entirely different from the product key so don't worry. They will give you a new product key based on this ID.
• Use (https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/) it will tell you your Product Key.
• It's very simple actually. Just “download a free key finder” and have it automatically search your computer for your Microsoft Office product key (Office CD key).

These key finder are great for finding lost keys from Microsoft Office versions like Microsoft Office 2010.

Hi Tammy Gibson,

It is very complicated situation when you have software but no product key.

For some specific software, we have to buy new key if we forgot our first product key. Microsoft Office is very commonly used product all over the world.

You can get the CD Key of Microsoft office 2010 from website. I have searched the Product Key for you.
