PC connection to HDTV not working properly

Hi there,

I have a Dell Vostro 470 PC which I would like to connect to a HDTV to watch movies, I have dual monitor setup via a HDMI slot an DVI slot, each time I connect my PC to the TV via either of the slots, am not getting any signal, the TV settings are okay and I don't seem to find why it won't receive signals from my PC, what could be the problem? How do I get this connection working?

PC connection to HDTV not working properly

Hi !

You need to reinstall your video card driver and make new settings properly. After your installation is finished making the settings for your video card (resolution etc.) and then press the keys Fn+F4 and choose if you want to see PC Monitor+Tv (dual) or only Tv. Make sure that the cables are well connected and they are not broken, and also recheck your Tv settings.
