Zoom Ultra USB Modem keep on disconnecting
I have used a Zoom Ultra USB modem. When it connected with my PC with a long USB cable, then it is disconnected again and again. I cannot use Internet. How can I solve this problem?

Make sure your modem is in working condition or not, check your phone wiring whether connected properly or not. Update your Modem's drivers, Sometimes it happens due to internet users traffic which could arise this problem. And disable your 56 k protocols which limits tour modem to V.34 kbps. And update your modems settings which also could limits your connection for internet.
If problem remains the same then sometimes problem occurs due to MTNL network. For this issue call at complain Centre.

I also use 'Zoom Ultra' Modem. Now that you know, it's a plug & play device. The driver that you have installed may be needs to be updated. You see there are two options called '1x' & 'EVDO'. If the problem happens when you connect in the 'EVDO' mode then you may go to the '1x' mode.
Check out what your modem's temperature is. But be sure it's not a internal problem of your modem. As you know 'Citycell' offers 6 months to 1 year warranty from the day of purchasing. So you can contact 'Citycell customer point' near you.
