Hi
I have a set of PDF files in a folder, i am trying to open each file, I am able to open a few files and remaining PDF files are showing an error.
Error:
Adobe reader could not open 'work-xlsx' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged(for example,it was sent an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
Thanks
Unable to open a set of PDF files
The software which you are using to open your document is Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe Acrobat Reader’s primary function is to let you open “.pdf” files
However the document that you are trying to open here is work.xlsx having an extension of ".xlsx"
.xlsx files have got a primary association with Microsoft Excel. i-e to view your document(work.xlsx) you should open the file with Microsoft Excel that is a part of Microsoft Office. So you should make sure you have Microsoft Excel installed in your computer with the help of which you may open your file
Unable to open a set of PDF files
Hi,
You are getting this error message because you have tried to open a file with ‘xlsx’ extension. The Adobe Acrobat reader can only open the file extension ‘.pdf’. I suggest you to open the file with Microsoft office application. You can right click the file, select ‘open with’ and select Microsoft office. This will fix the issue.
