Hi there,
I have realized that my Galaxy S4 proximity sensor is not turning off after a call, I have tried using compressed air on the face of the phone to remove dust hoping it will work but still am getting this problem, What could be causing this behavior? How do I get the sensor working properly?
Proximity sensor in Galaxy S4 acting up
Hi !
To turn off your proximity sensor if you have a plastic folio to protect your touch screen try to cut it around the front speaker. Also call to *#0*# to run a proximity test to see if it works properly and make the new settings. If this is not working try to reset your phone to the factory settings. In the last it might be a software problem which doesn't allow the phone to work with some basic settings and reinstall a clean new Android OS.
