Hi,
I have a pretty bad feeling about Windows 7. I can’t work with it. While logged in as an administrator, I try to register several *.ocx's in Windows 7 Pro and always get error code 0x8002801c. This is true, when using the Command Prompt method, using regsvr32. Now can anyone solve this problem? Please help me as soon as possible.
Windows 7 Professional registry errors?
Hi,
This is probably a problem with the storage to data storage error. The data storage must be damaged which must be causing this problem. Media Center may be damaged because of a data storage problem. Rebuilding the Media center may solve this problem.
There is a manual way to solve this problem which is technical and may take time to understand and cause more problems, if not done in the right way. So, I am providing you a download file which is a fix provided from Microsoft which will solve this problem.
Remember you need administrative privileges to run this file. Microsoft FIX Thanks

Windows 7 Professional registry errors?
Hi,
This is the instruction given by my friend who is an expert in troubleshooting. Find this file MSCOMCT2.OCX and you have to copy this in the directory C:windowssysWOW64.
After copying to that directory, you have to register it. How?
-
Run the command prompt: Be sure you run cmd as administrator. To do this –> Go to start menu–> type in the search bar "command prompt" right click on command prompt and click on run as administrator, then type this in command prompt c:windowssysWOW64mscomct2.ocx and press enter.
Also turn off UAC before registering, this can give limited rights. Kirk 25
