Your system must be running with an OS of either Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or Windows XP.

You must also have eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 or eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 Service Pack 3.

To follow these installations instructions you must be logged into your computer with an account with Local Administrator privileges.

You will need to disable any script blocking programs before you proceed with the installation.

I should remind you that if you install Pocket PC 2003 SDK on a Visual Studio 2003.NET development platform, you will have to decide to install Embedded Visual C++ 4.0. You should uninstall and then reinstall the Pocket PC 2003 SDK and also any localized emulator images.

• First, close all programs, remote development tools, and emulators before proceeding with the installation (such as eMbedded Visual Tools 3.0, eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0, Visual Studio .NET 2003, and all emulators of the first three.)
