I’m having a problem with my dvd decrypter. When I try to rip the ISO os my playstation 2 dvd’s some of them aren’t reaching the last sector to read. I checked the dvd’s for any scratches that might be causing the problem, but I find not a single scratch on them. Is there something wrong with my dvd’s or is it the software?
DVD Decrypter not reading sectors
Hello Robert,
-
As I read your problem there is one thing that I came up with. It is not the software, Even if there are no scratches on the DVD it does not mean that the data is all there or accessible. There are some DVD's that are burned incorrectly or some of the data is not accessible by the reader.

Your DVD reader could also be having a hard time accessing the data that it could not continue with the read.
-
All you have to do is rip the DVD's sectors using another computer with a newer burner or buy a new burner.
I hope this answers your problem and questions.

If you have problem with just single CD it is due to the cause that CD is not of valid data. Although if all CDs are getting same problem then your DVD drive is getting problem. If you are using a laptop then you can easily clean the lens or the head of the CD drive although if you are using a non laptop DVD and using a PC then you have to buy a clean up CD which is especially designed to clean the lens of the CD/DVD and it will make you CD/DVD perfect. As this cleans the lenses of the CD with its special tools and as a result the CD drive is cleaned so it will work fine.

You can buy it from your next step computer shop or just order from Amazon.
I hope this will solve your problem.
