After I restarted my computer, I encountered this kind of error. Below is the error that keeps on popping-up when I tried to launch my Firefox browser:
Firefox shows an error on startup "Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error: IDL:omg.org/CORBA/COMM_FAILURE:1.0 Adding client to server's list failed, CORBA error:" Same error appears when setting up as default browser from preferences.
Firefox error : Adding client to server’s list failed, CORBA error
Hey!
This sometimes happens when you select Mozilla as your default browser from preferences. This is because of the value that has been changed in a file of Mozilla.
You need to uninstall the Mozilla and reinstall it. This will solve your problem.
For uninstalling Mozilla:
-
Go to Control Panel
-
Select Programs
-
Then select Mozilla and uninstall it
For reinstalling Mozilla:
-
Run the setup file of Mozilla
-
Then follow the steps
-
Mozilla is installed
Mozilla will not show this error. Check if the error is coming or not by restarting your computer. If still the error occurs, then upgrade your Firefox to higher versions.
Thanks.

The only way out of this problem is to reinstall Mozilla Firefox. There are just some issues regarding Firefox that just can’t be explained thoroughly. The only way to get rid of it is to uninstall and start fresh with a new one. Some of these problems may be due to viruses or the setting of Firefox which suddenly changed. One thing I do recommend is to keep updating Firefox in order to keep up with the latest fixes they have with their browser. One thing also, always clean your registry after uninstalling a certain program in your computer. It might lead to some issues regarding your next program installation.
I hope I have shed some light into this matter.
