Hello everybody!
Bit of a Skype noob, but I need it for something soon so I need to get to grips with it.
My question is – can I call any other Skype account in the World for free? i.e. calling a US Skype account from my account here in the United Kingdom?
I'm assuming I can? But I don't know. Also, what's the sound quality like at this distance?
Look forward to hearing your feedback,
Thanks

Quick question regarding Skype about calling
Hi,
Yes you can call any skype account for free, whatever its in UK or US.
And the skype sound quality is based on your internet connection speed not on the distance. And you can get good sound quality by installing skype 4.2 version.
Enjoy!!

Quick question regarding Skype about calling
Apparently, you can make PC-PC call via Skype without paying a single dollar. But, if you eager to make calls to land lines or mobile it will cost you around 2.2c including VAT. If you long for making free calls, then making PC to PC calls via Skype is the best option. You can also make video calls there too. And the sound quality really depends on the internet line being used. There is also an option in Skype to make a test call to check your sound quality. One more thing, always use the latest version to get maximum of Skype. Currently, there is a latest version of Skype available “Skype 5.5 for Windows” .Make a call right now to your dear ones."Happy talking".
