“SBIE2305 Out of memory” error when running applications on Sandboxie

SBIE2305 Out of memory does not mean there is no sufficient memory in your computer or drives. It means that memory available on the Sandboxie to hold data or information has been filled up or application has run out of memory. In other words there is low virtual memory. So,you have to increase virtual memory.

But first try to uninstall the application and delete the program folder. Then re-boot and re-install the application again. If it does not work then try to allocate more memory for Sandboxie by uninstalling some other programs. You should also remember that some other program are having conflict with Sandboxie as for example avast! Pro version 5.So try to find out which program make conflict. And also try to use updated version.

Okay guy.

This problem is pretty common among Sandboxie users. To fix the problem, try increasing your operating system’s virtual memory. Right-click “My Computer” and select “Properties” then go to “Advanced” tab and click “Settings” under “Performance”. In Performance Options window, go to “Advanced” tab and click “Change” at the bottom under “Virtual memory”.

In the Virtual Memory window, select “Custom size” then enter the values for “Initial size” and “Maximum size”. To avoid fragmentation in the page file, enter the same value for both fields. According to an old rule of thumb, the ideal page file size or virtual memory size should be double your RAM or 1.5x your RAM but you don’t really need to follow this.

But since you are having problems with Sandboxie, this rule is worth to try. Check the actual amount of RAM installed on your computer and apply the rule. For example, if you have 2 GB RAM, your virtual memory should be 4 GB or 3 GB. In both fields, enter without quotes “4000” or “3000” then click “Set” and then “OK”.

Click to restart the computer when you are prompted to apply the new page file size. See if this works.
