Error PXE-E61 / PXE-M0F and no bootable device error

Hello experts!

I am not highly developed in IT and I am looking for a number of simple suggestions. I use a Packard bell laptop which is 6 months older. It was running very fine and then it rebooted itself. At the same time as I was running it – Now I get the following error message through a white font /black screen…..

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM

No bootable device – insert boot disk and press any key

Do you have you any ideas? Please ask me if you require any more information.

Usually the root of this issue lies in either of two things: a wrong setting in CMOS setup of a faulty boot device such as a hard drive. You need to ensure that your booting up options are set up correctly in the CMOS setup. Your boot order is of primary importance and with regards to this, it is highly advisable to have you CD ROM as your first boot device followed by the hard disk as the second boot device. If your CMOS has the choice of booting from LAN enabled, you should go ahead and DISABLE that.

Save the CMOS settings and restart your computer. If these steps do not help you in getting rid of your problem ,you should try and restore your CMOS to default values and save, exit and restart your computer. If none of the above options sort you out, then you should go through with the invalid or Non system disk trouble shooting procedure which has a relation to this error message. This should sort out your problem
