Hello techyv,

How to zoom webcams for Mac? Can you lead me along the webcam settings for Mac OS? I just don’t find the proper location. How can I zoom out my webcam video when using video chat with friends? I need some answer.

Expecting some help from you guys.

How to zoom webcams for Mac?

If you haven't set up your webcam on your MAC please follow the below instructions.

1. First open the "photobooth" application on your OS. You can find it on installed "applications" folder on the menu. If you have a built in webcam on your MAC computer the photobooth software is already installed in it.

2. When you open the application the indicator light nest to camera must start flashing if the camera is ready to use.

3. After you can change the settings like background and other camera effects through the application.

4. When you are ready to chat open the "iChat" application on your computer and start video chatting by selecting the person from the list and then by clicking "video" icon next to the contact.

If you need to zoom the camera please refer to the below information.

1. Click on the "Apple" icon and go to "preferences".

2. Then click on "white and blue arrow" symbol.

3. Click on "seeing" and select "zoom on" option.

4. Then exit from the window.

5. While using the webcam to hold down "option" key.

6. Then press and hold the key with Apple logo on it.

7. Now the feature is activated and use "=" and "-" to toggle between zooming in and out.

If you need to zoom the camera please refer to the below information.

• Click on the "Apple" icon and then go to preferences.
