Configure an email account by using MS outlook
Same ID in many sites does not a problem. Hotmail, Gmail & Yahoo have their own servers and there are no conflicts between them. I have also 3 same ids on gmail, yahoo and hotmail but i could have this problem. Outlook settings are as under:
Start Microsoft Outlook.
In Tools menu, you should click on Account Settings.
In E-mail tab, click on New.
In the Add New E-mail Account, click on Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click on Next.
To configure new e-mail account automatically, under Auto Account Setup in Add New E-mail Account:
In Your Name box type your name.
In E-mail Address box type your complete e-mail address.
In Password box type your account password.
In Retype Password box just retype your password then click on Next.
Click on Finish then click on Close to complete account setup.
To configure e-mail account manually, in the Add New E-mail Account:
Click to select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types then click on Next.
Click on Internet E-mail then click on Next.
Under User Information:
In Your Name box type your name.
In E-mail Address box type your e-mail address
In Server Information, click type of your e-mail account in the Account Type.
If you click on POP3 or IMAP in Account Type box then:
In Incoming mail server box type the name of server in lowercase letters.
In Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box type name of outgoing e-mail server. Type server name in lowercase letters.
If you click on HTTP in Account Type box then:
In HTTP Service Provider box click on the service provider for this email account. i.e. click one of the following:
Yahoo
Gmail
Other
If you clicked Other in HTTP Service Provider box type URL of the mailbox in Server URL box.
Under Logon Information:

Here are the steps which you need to follow in order to solve your problem related to MS Outlook:
-
Enable IMAP and then click on Save changes. As this will be the first time you are opening outlook, click on “Do not upgrade” and the yes. Enter your desired user name along with the domain name (For eg. @gmail.com) and your password in order to proceed. Do not forget to enter the name and full email address in the settings.
-
Select IMAP from the Account settings menu. Please enter:imap.gmail.com in the Incoming server name and smtp.gmail.com in the Outgoing Server name section (SMTP).
-
Type your full email address as the username and click on next. The next page consists of a Tools menu. Select Options from it and then click on Mail Setup. Here click on Email accounts and select an account. Click on Change written above the list of accounts. Select More settings and then visit the advanced tab.
-
Here, check that the Incoming server is 993 and the encryption is SSL3. The Outgoing Server should be 587 and the encryption should be TLS4.
-
Please check that My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option is selected in the Outgoing Server tab. You can use the same settings as my incoming mail server by clicking on the corresponding radio button. Click on OK, Next, finish and then Close in the end.
For the second question, they might be using the CC: or the Carbon copy options as both the IDs displayed are same.

Configure an email account by using MS outlook
Please try the following steps to solve your problem:
-
Select Tools from the E-mail Accounts menu in Microsoft Outlook.
-
Select Add a new e-mail account from the E-mail account wizard window and then click on Next button.
-
Select POP3 or IMAP as your server type and click on Next.
-
Enter your full name (including first name and last name), E-mail Address, User Name (your e-mail address), Password (the password of your email account), Incoming mail server (POP3, Pop.secureserver.net or IMAP, imap.secureserver.net) and Outgoing mail server (SMTP Smtpout.secureserver.net) and then click on More Settings.
Please note that smtpout.secureserver.net is an SMTP relay server. SMTP relay must be activated on your email account if you want to use the server for sending e-mails. To manage SMTP relay, visit the Accounts page. In case you do not have an SMTP relay setup, the outgoing mail server can be used as your Internet Service Provider, if allowed.
Follow the following steps to contact your Internet Service Provider:
-
Visit the Outgoing Server tab in the Internet E-mail Settings window.
-
Select the option “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.
-
Select “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”, if you have not changed the SMTP relay section. In case you have changed the user name and password, select the option to log on by entering the username and password. In the example mentioned below, it is assumed that the SMTP relay section does not change in the Manage email accounts page of MS Outlook.
-
Visit the Advanced tab and change the Outgoing (SMTP) server port number to 80 or 3535.
-
Chick on OK, then on NEXT and finally on Finish button to complete the procedure.
