Error 2732 on Updating Evernote 4.6.6

I want to install the latest update of Evernote software. However, every time I tried an error will pop up:

Evernote v. 4.6.6

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2732.

I am stuck with the installation and when I tried to uninstall Evernote, I was unable to. How can I fix this please?

Error 2732 on Updating Evernote 4.6.6

You cannot find any solutions for this issue in Evernote Forums. Luckily, Microsoft has Fixit tool to help you troubleshoot and fix this.

1. First of all, go to the link below:

Fixit

2. Locate the Uninstall option under the View or run solutions to download Fixit executable.

2. Followed with:

3. Choose Evernote v. 4.6.3 from the list:

4. Fixit will uninstall the program, just follow the onscreen instructions:

5. When done with the uninstallation, you need to install the latest update of Evernote. Go to %APPDATA%/Local/Temp/Evernote.msi (user) and then run the Evernote executable file to install Evernote.

6. Evernote will run successfully again on your computer.

Error 2732 on Updating Evernote 4.6.6

Hello,

Evernote is a very good program but unfortunately, it is doing some issue while updating. You have to first uninstall the old one, then install the latest one.

1. Use this Microsoft Fixit. Download and run.

2. When prompted, select “Evernote”.

3. Wait for the process to finish.

Now, your PC is free from Evernote and you will be able to get the latest one installed easily. If you still have issue,

Go to “%APPDATA%/Local/Temp”. Run the “Evernote.msi”.
