What is FZC in cracking zip password files?

 

Hi Khusi,

 

Fast Zip Cracker (FZC) unzips zipped files which are protected with passwords. Just so you know, Zipping is a method of compressing files into one file.

 

In some FZCs, brute-force attack is used, where the password is cracked using exhaustive key search. Another method, wordlist attack, tests millions of words from a text file archive to find the probable password. FZCs can also retrieve lost password or destroy the password.
