I can't write Metadata to my files on my Panasonic camera with Adobe Bridge. I need this for my work so I can create metadata through keywords on those mxf videos so the database of the video will become searchable. However, a strange error is occurring and I'm not sure if there is available fix on the web. Please help.

In practice Adobe Bridge reads the files using the Photoshop Camera plug-in. This plug-in installs automatically when you install Adobe Bridge. It is important to find out Bridge support for the file format your Camera is generating. The other reason could be the permission issue, like the file might be locked and can’t be edited. You may try using some other third party software to overcome this problem.
Alternatively try the following in case it solves your problem.
Select the file(s) you want to add metadata for.
Then right click and select “Purge Cache for Selection”. If this works, then replicate the steps for other files.

It seems the file format where you want to add metadata to is not supported. The file format “.ncor” or simply NCOR is not supported by Adobe Bridge. The supported file formats for Adobe Bridge are the following: SWF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WBM, MOV, 3GP, M4V, MP4, MPG, MPEG, AVI, HTM, HTML, XHTML, CHTML, URL, and WEBLOC. And it’s pretty clear NCOR is not there on the list.
On the other hand, if the file format where you want to add metadata to is supported but you cannot add metadata to the file, here’s a workaround. Right-click on the file where you want to add metadata to and select “Purge Cache for Selection”. After this, you should be able to add keywords to the file as well as edit the XMP metadata.
According to Adobe, the “Purge Cache for Selection” option will only refresh the thumbnail for that particular file and nothing else. But that option doesn’t only refresh the thumbnail but will also allow you to add and edit metadata on files that are supposedly supported but are not allowing you to add keywords and or metadata.
This option will also allow you to add metadata or keywords to AEP files “.aep” which is an Adobe After Effects file format. But still it has limitations to unsupported file formats such as NCOR.
