How to disable an application to access internet.
Dear Keanu Bedingfield,
Here are few steps that can help you restrict any application to go to the internet in Windows 7. Go To Start>Control Panel>system and security>windows firewall.
There you are, now click on the red marked link. Advanced Settings. For restricting the Application you have to create Inbound and Outbound Rules. For this:
1st we are creating a inbound rule. Click on a red marked link.
Then on the right side click on red marked link named New rules link. A wizard will open, kind of like this.
Do nothing just click next.
In a program path insert a complete path of that application. For example, C:Program FilesThe KMPlayerkmplayer.exe.
Press next
Then select Block the Connection and click next.
Leave it the same and click next.
Give any name to the profile and click Finish. Now create a same profile in out bound rules. You are done. Happy net surfing.
