Is the fix for Mac's Flashback virus downloadable?

How can I download it and does it come for free?

Flashback Virus fix can be downloaded

There is no downloadable flashback virus fix, but there is one way how to get rid of it. Apple recently announced its new software update to get rid and protect your Mac computers from Flashback malware.

If you are using Mac OS X Lion and OS X v10.6, please check and change the settings of your Software Update preferences to manually update your software time to time. Or better yet, disable Java from your browser settings but it will affect somehow of your browsing experience.

However, flashback malware relies on servers created by malware authors to damage your operating system.

Mac is communicating to some individuals to combat this online security threat.

I stand by your concern because falshvirus alone infected 6000,000 Macs. That is a huge number. Now who provides tools to remove that virus matters for you.

1. F-secure will do
2. Apple's own way to get rid of that virus https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202456 (must read deep links also)
3. Sophos & clamxa will do
