Hello guys,
I have recently downloaded the Google Chrome app and I have started to install it. But whenever I try to do so, I keep getting the following error message:
"Installation failed. The Google Chrome installer does not allow installing with administrator privileges."
Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
Google Chrome app does not install
Google is the best browser anyway. Its really great to use it though.
From your question itself its clear what the problem is. Google chrome and all needs administrative privileges to install because it needs to modify some system files and create some data copies into the system folders.
There are many solutions i guess , First you try this :-
Please login in to an account with administrator account , In win XP make sure your account is not limited account or if in windows 7 make sure its not standard account. Login with your administrator account.
IF then also the same problem means
Do the following :-
Right click on the setup which your are trying to download and then select run as administrator and click yes when promoted.
now try installing it.
If it fails means do the following download Google chrome from this link.
Hope that solves it

Google Chrome app does not install
There was some problem with the older versions of Google Chrome. This issue is now fixed for new downloads of Google Chrome. If you continue to receive an error window saying "Installation failed. The Google Chrome installer does not support installing with administrator privileges."
Please try to download Chrome from the official website (www.google.com) and not through another third party as you may be downloading other malicious unknowingly.
