Android technology in modern phone

A mobile phone operating software developed by Google called Android. It's operating system is Linux. Anyone can use Android for free & so it's called open source technology. This software is developed by Google. But Google gave it away for free to hardware manufacturers & phone carriers who want to use Android on their devices.

Everybody is able to download the SDK(software development kit) and write application for Android phones and that is not screened developers of applications by Google. For consumers and developers, Android is fascinating. In many ways Android is the philosophical opposite of the iPhone. The iPhone struggles to develop the best user experience by restricting hardware and software standards. But on the opposite.

Android tries to insure it by opening up as much of the operating system as possible. There is positive and negative side of open source. A unique user experience may you get from fragmented versions of Android. But also mean fewer users per variation. So, it is tougher to support for app developers, accessory makers and technology writers- each Android upgrade must be modified for the specific hardware and user interface upgrades of each device.

The result is that it takes more time for modified Android phones to receive updates. If we left the fragmentation issue, Android is a strong platform that exaggerate some of the fastest & most astonishing phones & tablets on the market.
