Hello!
I'm stuck for 2 days working on my home network. I have 3 computers and all are connected to a router, 1 wireless and 2 hardwired computers. All of them cannot connect to the Internet.
I tried power cycling the computers, modem and router but its still the same. I checked the IP address of the 3 computers and all of them are 192.168.x.x. I'm running out of ideas, please help.

Are the lights on the modem and router normal?
Can you also do a sequential powercycling of the equipment. Start with everything turned off, then turn them on. Â The modem first. Wait until lights are normal then the router, last are the computers. Tell me if this works.

Yes. I have checked the lights on the modem and router. They are normal.
I just did the sequential powercycling of the modem, router and computers. Its the same.

Looks like you have exhausted doing all you can do, from your end and lights are normal as well.
Try calling your ISP and request for a modem reset from their end. Then check once more and see if that fixes it.

Called Timewarner and they put me on hold to reset my modem. After that they had me powercycle everything and its online!
All computers have Internet access. Guess, it sometimes needs a reset from them. Good stuff! thanks!

Excellent. Sometimes this happens that the reset has to be initiated from the ISP's system to make it work.

I will surely remember that. Thanks again!
